The South Central Minnesota Department of Transportation collection consists of two scrapbooks of photographs of the April 1965 Flood of the Minnesota River and its tributaries. There are also photographs of different cities within the department's jurisdiction that were taken in the 1960s-1980s. There is also the New Ulm Journal, which ran a special edition to cover the flood in 1965.
